Memories Reloded

On my previous blog’s comment, I received a request from my very dear friend – Kaushik Kalathiya that I should write something on the pranks we played in our school days. So KAUSHIK, this is for you!!

First, let me introduce him: fat and clumsy body, very funny guy, every time passing comments that makes everyone laugh, a diplomatic person I would say. Very passionate about his hair style, always trying new looks with different hair gels and end up asking me in the school – “Pratik, how’s this style”. I never disappointed him…. J as far as studies are concerned, very hardworking fellow, but did not know smart work and because of which he is not able to score well till today.

So Kaushik, this will remind u something, have a look …….

“Sheet, clean up this mess immediately” - Jignesh shouted
“Here is the broom, Anita, clean it, I’ll keep a watch in the corridor” – I said

It was Sardar Patel School. 11th commerce class. The highest rated classroom as a notorious class. We were playing volleyball in the classroom……….. jaky’s punch on the ball led to breaking of a tube light.

Now, everyone, for a second was shocked and nobody moved for a while. White glasses scatted all around the classroom. With god’s grace nobody was hurt.

Jignesh immediately went to another empty class room to get a tube.

I went to get the broom, and handed over to Anita.

Anita, my classmate, started to sweep the classroom

I and kaushik kept a watch on the corridor, so that we could signal if anybody comes.

Jaky and Sachin brought newspaper so that glasses could be wrapped in it and disposed off safely and SECRETLY.

Jignesh brought a new tube from an empty class room and was fixed in the fixture. After this whole mess was finished, I can bet, nobody could recognize that a tube light had been broken here in the near past.

The task was accomplished within approx. 6 mins. A perfect example of team work, a perfect example of MANAGEMENT. Everyone was working on their own, not a single guy was suggested to do any work.
Effective Management always demands team work, loyalty, trust, and effective communication (includes secret information also).

We had practically implemented MANAGEMENT unknowingly, and theory I learned in graduation J

New phase of Life

16th July 2008. It was my 12th commerce result and I scored 70%, to be precise 68%. The options were BBA, BCA, CA and CS for my further studies.

Doing any kind of money minting business was always a passion for me. But, my father wanted to add ‘MBA’ as a prefix of my name. So, let me fulfil my father’s dream and rest of the life I’ll fulfil my dream.

Reading the newspapers and all, I thought MBAs are good always salaried persons so let’s do it.
7th may 2011.My BBA graduation was over now and I am stamped graduated with first class result with 70%; to be precise 73%…….yippee!!!!

Now I will have the privilege to write ‘PRATIK VAGHANI (BBA – FIRST CLASS)’ in my mirage invitation card, and some other benefits in my town like – I’ll have a sexy girl to marry; people are talking to me with great pleasure, always welcoming and greeting me.

I am well honoured in my town and people respect me because of my DEGREE and not because of me. I am and I was always the same, I never change, but I increased my values because I increased my degrees. Other children might be intelligent then me, but they don’t have any value because they don’t have any degree.

I hold a graduation degree. But, when I question to my self – ‘what have I learned OR what have I done OR have I done anything new in 3 years of my graduation?!?!?’ the answer is probably - NOTHING.

The full name of BBA is ‘Bachelors of Business and Administration’. But I don’t think I am still eligible to commence a business or even manage it, and I can bet, not a single student of my batch can do it…… huh !!!

So my journey towards MBA (Masters in Business Administration) has started. Let’s wait and watch, what does life has to give me…..
“Yesterday was a history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a GIFT, so it is called PRESENT”
